Amme Mansion
Classification : Private Villa
Scope : Architecture & Interior
Location : Payangan, Bali - Indonesia
Size : 800 M2
Facilities : Masterplanning, Architecture, and Interior
Status : Completed, 2024
Perched on a steep hillside amidst Bali’s lush tropical landscape, Amme Mansion is a striking reinterpretation of American-style luxury through a distinctly contemporary, context-aware lens. With its bold geometry, expansive views, and refined materiality, the residence captures a sense of drama and stillness all at once. Designed as a personal haven and social space, this two-story home—with an additional rooftop deck—embraces both the monumental and the intimate.
The design draws from the principles of American residential architecture: clear volumes, symmetrical proportions, and a commanding presence. Yet rather than transplanting these ideas wholesale, the architects filtered them through the lens of tropical living. The result is a home that feels rooted in its environment, with architectural gestures that respond thoughtfully to light, climate, and terrain.
