I PUTU ANGGA PRASTIKA / FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Born in Bali, Indonesia, where he grew up inspired by approaching cultural, tectonic, and modernity. He studied Architecture at the University of Udayana. Becoming an Architect is his childhood dream. Angga has experience and knowledge in master planning, architecture, and interior at companies such as Yoka Sara International, WATG Singapore (The Ritz-Carlton, Sawangan), Ciptaning Architect (Grand Inna Kuta Beach), and Alexis Dornier.
Angga lead’s the project teams in design execution and contract implementation of innovative different range of scale projects. Angga has been involved in a diverse array of local and international projects at master planning, conceptual design, design development, and construction stages, along with leading a number of projects in Indonesia. In particular, Angga has played a key design and coordination role in the development of several large-scale projects.
His primary goal is to deepen the value proposition to both client and the community it designs for as well as to re-energize the design agenda of purposeful architecture that responds to the context and socio-economic needs of its time with evidence-based, and good design outcomes. To do so, he leads the strategy for architecture practice towards reinforcing its core competencies, synergizing its multidisciplinary approach, elevating the quality of design and delivery through integrated digital platforms, and expounding the typology of design.
Angga has possessed a deep passion for design and is aware of the shifts in the design industry’s trends, recognizes that architecture as a practice is no longer as straightforward as before. Beyond understanding the brief, one must also know how to extrapolate and where to value-add so as to deliver a design that goes beyond its original brief.
JULIUS SAPTIAN GUNAWAN / FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he grew up inspired by a contemporary, futuristic, detail oriented design and studied architecture at the University of Pelita Harapan. Julius has experience and knowledge in architecture, interior, and product design at companies such as Alexis Dornier, Formwerkz Architect, Hirsch Bedner Associates, and A Work Substance.
A multi-disciplinary works that specialize in the built environment, Julius accepts commissions to design a range of private residential, commercial, master planning, retail, and hospitality projects.
Julius has his own taste and sensitivity to design aesthetics of the present and past. He has always been interested in design approaches and processes for exploration, experimenting with different materials and structures, styles, and methods by surroundings. He strongly believes that well-built environments are a result of respectful collaboration and positive energy to team spirit. Aside from architecture and interior design. Julius has a strong desire to push design beyond its boundaries and believes that each project should have its own unique identity of the design.
Julius’ role is to work alongside the client required, to help define a well-formulated project brief, to map out the team, and to achieve milestones by working along the dedicated team to achieve the delivery of masterpieces design and good services - thus ensuring successful project outcomes. Julius is actively working on design management and operations to ensure provide our clients with the best processes, talent, and design outcomes. He takes a very hands-on approach and can bring value to any type of project in any location.
SUNARYO / PARTNER
Sunaryo holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Udayana University Bali, Indonesia. He has worked with various companies specializing in Architectural, Interior Design, and Lighting Design. With over 20+ years of experience working hands-on with respected firms in Bali such as John Hardy, Cheong Yew Kuan, and the last career at HBA Bali as Head Studio.
He is a passionate designer with a breadth of experience and skills developed a range of architectural and interior design projects within an international.
Naryo’s strengths line in his creative ability to work alongside clients to understand their aspirations, bringing people together toward a common goal to produce inspiring and responsive design
solutions. He is an effective leader and collaborator, with a depth of understanding in construction, materials, and systems. He has been a studio leader, tutor, and critic for several company of architecture both here and overseas.
